Lasalle Higher Secondary
School helps the students to involve in other activities
like sports, music, drawing, dancing, games, navy, scout
and quiz club. In order to improve the thinking pattern
and aptitude skills the students make use of all these
activities and excel well in life. These activities
also help the students to grow well mentally, physically,
and socially. Some of the key activities are Navy,
Scout, Sports
and Games. Lasalle Foot Ball team is famous in the
Tuticorin district and always wins the divisional championship
trophy.

National
Cadet Corps
is an Unit organized by the Department of Indian Defense
in all the schools. A group of selected students are
given intensive training in leadership, gun firing,
National Integration, mountaineering, boating and so
on.

There are now 100
cadets in the Naval Unit of Lasalle School. It functions
in a major role, organizing various training programmes
to make the students conscious of National Patriotism.
Also in particular this unit offers exposure training
in Naval Operations to the students.

Lasalle Higher Secondary School has achieved a lot in
sports and games field. In 1974 the school foot ball
team won state level foot ball championship trophy.
Also in the following years the Lasalle team won many
district level trophies.
Lasalle School mainly concentrates in
the following games in the Junior, Senior and Super-senior
levels.
