| The role and functions
of Lasallian Educational Council and its inter-relation has
been conceived with the sole aim of establishing a clear set
of organizational structure for the pastoral and human advancement
ministry in the field of education through Academic Institutions. |

As per the decision
of the Third Delegation Chapter (3rd Chapter Acts : III - 3),
LEC functions directly under the Delegation Council while cooperating
with the Mission Commission on the areas of mutual concern.

| The Congregation of De La Salle Brothers
has been registered as the Congregation of De La Salle Brothers,
bearing Registration No : 10/1998. |
|
The Manager of the Lasallian School
The provincial of the De La Salle Brothers in India is
the President of the Society. In his capacity he is the Manager
of all the Lasallian Schools, Colleges, Charitable Institutions
established in the Roman Catholic Dioceses of India and administrated
by the De LA Salle Brothers and all those Schools and charitable
Institutions established and transferred from the Dioceses
of Tuticorin and Sivagangai, viz.,.

The role of the Manager
The actual work of the Manager is shared by the Executive
Secretary of the Lasallian Schools and Colleges who acts on
behalf of the Manager in matters connected with the function
of the Lasallian Schools and by the Correspondents in the areas
of their jurisdiction, but within the framework of directives
issuing from the Manager. |
