Postulancy
The Postulancy is that stage in initial formation which precedes and prepares for entry into the Novitiate. The Postulancy offers the candidate the means to continue to mature as a person and to enrich his faith, so that he can discern how authentic is his vocation to the Brothers' life. It brings to maturity his decision to enter the Novitiate by allowing him to experience for the first time the Institute's religious, community and apostolic life.

Mission Statement
We the inmates of the Lasalle Postulany, Boys Town, in gratitude to the Lord for the grace of participating in the initial formation, commit ourselves to continue to mature as persons, to enrich our faith, to discern the authenticity of our Lasallian vocation and to decide in a matured manner to enter the Novitiate.

Nature of the Postulancy
The Postulancy House is situated in Boys Town premise. The Brothers involving in three different units namely Delegation Central Office, Boys Town Welfare & Training and Postulancy form a community and live together. Bro. Christopher, Bro. Joseph Reid and Bro. Kennedy who are assigned to work full time in the Postulancy participate in all the possible aspects of the community, like prayers, recollections and community meetings with the Brothers. The Formation Program in the postulancy is autonomous in nature, which gives importance to personal maturity, faith-life and decision-making processes of the postulants. All the programs for the postulants are separate except that they join the Community Brothers for Holy Eucharistic celebration.
