Since
the school is situated in a remote village and the people's
main occupation is agriculture, the Brothers continue to educate
and support the students in the this field. First of all the
students are given training to love the nature and to develop
interests in environmental consciousness. They are taken every
year to Kodaikaanal, a hill station, for an awareness training
camp on 'Protecting environment and Nature'. This helps the
students a lot to develop the interests in agriculture. The
students also involve in maintaining gardens and growing trees.
