  Management Committee
  Preamble
 

                  The Constitution of the Lasalle Management Committee is established in order to govern and animate the all the activities of the Institution more effectively. The board participates in taking key decisions for the development of the institution to achieve the common goal of educating the poor youth.

  Membership
 
  • The President of the Indian delegation
  • The Person who holds the posts of Headmastership and Correspondentship, who also acts as the secretary of the Committee.
  • The Brothers who are working full time in the various departments of the Institution
  • One representative from Lay Partners who is working as a full time staff, appointed by the Correspondent
  Meetings of the Management Committee
 
  • Regular meetings shall occur once in two months during the academic year.
  • Special or extra-ordinary meetings may be called by the secretary of the Committee at any time.
  • Brother President of the Indian Delegation shall access to any meetings when required.
  • The agendas of all the meetings shall be distributed to all the members of the committee atleast one day ahead.
  • The minutes of the meetings are sent to the Lasalle Educational Council.
  Functions of the Management Committee
 
  • The management committee is the official forum for the school which has the power to recommend proposals and to help the headmaster to take decisions affecting the school policy.
  • The management committee is acting as a consultative body to plan for major projects to establish or modify the infrastructure.
  • All the formal expressions of the Committee opinion and comments on matters of concern to the school are taken down by the headmaster for further execution.

1 Faith Council
   

Preamble
The Faith Council, consisting of the Teaching Faculty, within the frame work of the school Management Committee, shall work as a team in the pursuit of spiritual accomplishment and a humanistic environment.

   

Purpose
The Purpose of the Faith Council is to plan and execute all the spiritual activities in the school and to maintain a favourable environment for religious tolerance among the students.

   

Functions of the Faith Council

  • Organizing Holy Mass every month.
  • Organizing all the major Religious festivals of all Christianity, Hinduism and Muslim
  • Arranging special prayer services on important occasions
  • Organizing inter-religious dialogue among the students
  • To arrange for regular meetings to plan, execute and evaluate the activities
2 Sports Council
   

Preamble
The Sports Council, consisting of the Teaching Faculty, within the frame work of the school Management Committee, shall work as a team in accomplishing sports and games excellence.

   

Purpose
The Purpose of the Sports Council is to plan and execute all the sports activities in the school throughout the academical year. All the sports events are organized by the council as well as it organizes sports teams to represent the school to play other teams

    Functions of the Sports Council
   
  • Arranges for the sports council meetings every month to plan and execute the sports activities.
  • Responsible for the selection process to select the team members for various sports and games.
  • Takes the school teams to play matches against the other school teams
  • Maintains the record of physical fitness of all the students in the school
  • Organizes Annual Sports Day in the School
3 Academic Council
   

Preamble
The Academic Council, consisting of the Brothers and Teaching Faculty, within the frame work of the school Management Committee, shall work as a team in the pursuit of academical accomplishment and a humanistic environment.

   

Purpose
The Purpose of the Academic Council is to plan and execute all the academical activities in the school. The council also is responsible for organizing special coaching classes for the weaker students.

   

Functions of the Academical Council

  • Convening meetings every month to plan, execute and evaluate the academical activities of the school.
  • Setting timetables and organizing examinations.
  • Organizing special coaching classes for the weaker students.
4 Student Council
   

Preamble
The Student Council, consisting of the Brothers, Teaching Faculty and Student representatives within the frame work of the school Management Committee, shall work as a team in the pursuit of Student welfare and a humanistic environment.

   

Purpose
The Purpose of the Student Council is to plan and execute all the Student activities in the school. The council also is responsible for organizing various training programmes in life coping skills and leadership qualities.

   

Functions of the Student Council

  • Convening meetings every month to plan, execute and evaluate the Student welfare programmes.
  • Organizing leadership training programmes.
  • Representing the students' problems and wishes to the concern persons.
  • Overseeing the election of the student representatives.
  • Empowering the student representatives to take care of the discipline in the absence of the teachers.
5 Youth Council
   

Preamble
The Youth Council, consisting of the Brothers and Teaching Faculty within the frame work of the school Management Committee, shall work as a team in the pursuit of bringing peace in mind and body of the students.

   

Purpose
The Purpose of the Youth Council is to plan and execute all the activities relating to psychological orientation to the students in the school. The council also is responsible for organizing relaxing moments, short trips and tours for personal and educational purpose.

   

Functions of the Youth Council

  • Convening meetings every month to plan, execute and evaluate the programmes related to the Youth council.
  • Organizing workshops and seminars on counseling and guidance.
  • Paying special attention to the slow learns student through special classes by youth members..
  • Organizing short trips and educational tours.
  • Regular cleaning of the campus.
