Background
Apart from regular academy subjects, the students
were encouraged to follow the Lasallian values.
In order to motivate and train the interested
students, a formal structure called Lasalle
Youth Movement was started This is to impart
the values such as faith, service and community
on the students. The formal inauguration was
held on the 18th October 1999, by Rev. Edward
Francis, the Bishop of Sivagangai Diocese and
Bro. Mark Murphy, the Delegate and Bro. Sebastian,
the President. The Priests religious, staff
and students, friends and Brothers witnessed
the important event.

Objectives
To promote the life and charism of St. John Baptist De La Salle
among the students and in the society.
To foster in the youth, the leadership abilities, concern for
one's society, spiritual yearning and self-confidence. |
